LEAGUE NEWS:

(8/9) If the season should end in a tie between Change of Pace and No Glove, No Love at 13-3, the league championship would go to No Glove, No Love because they would be undefeated (2-0) head-to-head versus the Change of Pace. In other words, the winner between Change of Pace and No Glove, No Love gets 1st place and the loser earns 2nd.

The only way Chick’s and Edward Jones would finish in a tie for 3rd place is if Chick’s loses to Edward Jones and Edward Jones beats B&S Tent/Aurelio’s. Should that happen, Edward Jones Inv. – Don Hubner would earn the 3rd place trophy as they would be 2-0 against Chick’s. In essence, the winner between Chick's & Edward Jones will take home the 3rd place trophy.

(7/22) The trophy-eligible teams have been determined and the remaining league games have been posted. B&S Tent/Aurelio's and Chick's, by virtue of each of their wins over Huston's Home Improvement, won the tie-breaker over Huston's to earn a shot at a trophy.

(7/17) We're finally just about complete with our first round games. After the rest of the round is complete, the remainder of the schedule will be compiled. Two of the position round games have been scheduled for 7/21. Home team for the position round games will be whichever team was visitors during those teams' first meeting.

(7/7) One game (Chick's vs. The Hitmen) was suspended on 7/7. That game will be completed at 8:00 on 7/21 which will move back subsequent starts that night on the north diamond by 15 minutes. Please make a note of schedule changes on 7/21.

(6/24) Due to a previously identified conflict, all July 10th games have been rescheduled for July 17th. The rainouts from June 19th have been rescheduled for July 10th. PLEASE NOTE: the resumption of the suspended game between Mason's Mounts and The Hitmen will begin at 6:30 while all other games that day will begin at the top of the hour.

(6/3) Rainouts from 5/26 have been rescheduled for FRIDAY, June 19 while rainouts from 6/2 will be made up on July 10. An email suggesting 6/12 as a potential makeup date was sent previously. It was subsequently pointed out that the park district will need to prepare fields on 6/12 for a youth tournament that weekend. Therefore, the makeup date was moved to 6/19.

(5/10) The 2009 schedule is posted. Please take a moment to verify the schedule's accuracy by checking to see your team is scheduled for 12 games. Make sure your team is scheduled against all other teams one time. Verify your team is off on the nights requested during signup. Finally, be sure your team is not schedule for two different games at the same time. If an error is found, it is extremely important the league scheduler is notified by 5/12 so the schedule can be corrected prior to the start of the season.
