LEAGUE NEWS:

(7/27) The remaining schedule has been corrected to accurately reflect the bottom two pods of three teams. Teams affected include: Macomb Police FOP, Dingle Danglers, The Hitmen, Whalen Manufacturing, Those Guys & Smith's Garden Center. Please make a note of the changes.

(7/26) Remainder of the league schedule has been posted.

(7/19) Games originally scheduled for Monday, Aug. 1 have been moved back to Tues., July 26th. We noted this was a possibility in our last email dated June 30th. Additionally, we have moved the game between B&S/Aurelios and The Hitmen to Aug. 1 from it's originally scheduled Aug. 2 date. This will allow for all of the games being played a week prior to the pod rounds beginning and allow us to schedule those pod rounds in their entirety immediately after the conclusion of the games on 7/26. Should games be postponed on either 7/25 or 7/26, they would be played on Mon., Aug. 1 (with the exception of B&S/Aurelios vs. Hitmen which would move to the first Tuesday of pod play.)

(6/30) Rain makeups have been scheduled. Games washed out 5/24 have been rescheduled for 7/19. Games from 6/20 are set for 7/25 and rainouts from 6/27 will be made up 8/1. July 26th has been set aside as a makeup day. Should there be no makeups needed for 7/26, games from 8/1 could be moved back to 7/26, so be alert for a last-minute change. We would let you know by 7/20 should this be the case.

(5/20) In order to accomodate a Gold Division team which shares severall players with a Church League team scheduled to play at the same time, start times for games on 6/27 have been rearranged. All teams that were scheduled to play on 6/27 will still be playing. However, start times for all games on 6/27 have been changed.

(5/10) There has been a major revision to the 2011 Gold League schedule. A team which indicated they could not play on Mondays was inadvertently scheduled to play several games on Monday causing the need to entirely reschedule the league. Initial attempts consisted of merely swaping out their Monday games with other games. However, this resulted in some teams playing 5 or 6 Monday nights. As it is, there are still some teams playing up to 4 Mondays. While this is not optimal, it is the best that could be managed under the circumstances. Every effort was made to honor special requests and we believe we were very successful in doing so. Please accept our sincere apology for any inconvience redrawing the league schedule may have caused.

(5/8) The 2011 schedule is posted. Please take a moment to verify the schedule's accuracy by checking to see your team is scheduled for 14 games. Make sure your team is scheduled against all other teams one time. Verify your team is off on the nights requested during signup. Finally, be sure your team is not schedule for two different games at the same time. If an error is found, it is extremely important the league scheduler is notified by 5/10 so the schedule can be corrected prior to the start of the season.
